Must Have Mondays – Issue 18
Happy Monday! I hope everyone has been having a wonderful summer! It’s time for another edition of one Must Have Mondays! Yay!
If this is your first time stopping by Must Have Mondays, you’ll be seeing a recipe, blogger/blog, and product that I’m lovin’ right now! If you have any suggestions for the future on any three of those topics, comment below or shoot me an email. I’m always open to checking out a new blog, recipe, or product!!!
This is one of my favorite recipes ever! And what a great summer side dish! It is so, so flavorful. My husband and I literally ain’t thirds when we had this the other night! We had grilled some turkey burgers and it made for the perfect side with them. Such a great BBQ dish! And I love how healthy it is. Many times when you find something so healthy, it tends to be bland! Not this! This is truly one of my most recommended dishes ever! You will not be disappointed.
This week’s blogger: Alex of Heart Home and Hope
I am so excited to feature Alex this week! We connected months and months ago and it has been awesome to watch her blog and social media channels take off! She has such a way with words and I always get sucked in when I visit her site. She blogs about motherhood, marriage, and faith. She also has a daughter about the same age as my little girl so it’s fun to see all their adventures together. If you are looking to smile or challenge yourself in your faith, her blog is the one for you!
This week’s product: Pick-Ease
I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts & opinions are 100% my own.
I should’ve held my tongue all those months ago when I was telling everyone about how great of an eater Adalynn was. The tables have turned – and quickly! For the last 6ish weeks she is spitting out food, say “no, no,” just sitting there with her lips closed tight, and/or telling me it’s “too hot.” (She learned that nice little trick because of the ONE time something was too hot and I let her not eat it (insert eye roll)). Needless to say, when I happened across this product on Instagram about a month ago I was stoked. A mother of two created this product after her picky son would happily eat things with a toothpick. She decided to create a safer alternative. And Pick-Ease was born! It has seriously worked wonders with us! I truly can’t believe the difference using a “toothpick” makes to a picky child! They are also super affordable so even if your child isn’t a picky eater, they just make meal time more fun! And neater! (i.e. the mixed fruit shown in the pictures!)
As always, thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!
