I had way too much fun planning our baby girl’s 1st birthday party. While birthdays are so bittersweet, I was did much less crying than I thought I would! I was just so excited for the fun things planned and I’m so excited to see the wonderful things she accomplishes in her life!
Her birthday party was pink lemonade themed and boy did I find some adorable stuff to go along with that theme! I’m also someone who is all about details so every little thing I found I could picture being incorporated into her birthday party.
Her perfectly designed invitation (thank you Audrey!) was a great start!!!
Guests were greeted by a lemonade stand that her grandparents handmade her!
A variety of finger foods and beverages were served soon after the start of the party, because let’s be honest, food is everyone’s main priority anyway (Just me?) The drink tags, signs, and food tents had just the right amount of lemonade cuteness and even though they were from different Etsy shops they all went together just right!
After eating, the adults chatted while the kiddos played inside or outside. Inside there was a play kitchen and outside there was a water table and three kiddie pools.
Since it was so hot the day of the party, we put up a large pop-up tent for shade for the kids and provided water bottles (with the cutest labels!) to stay cool.
Next it was time for presents…
…and then cake!
Again, the cake topper and high chair banner were from different Etsy shops, but looked just darling together!
She wasn’t a fan of getting dirty!
While she ever so slowly enjoyed her cake, the guests enjoyed cupcakes.
After cupcakes/cake the party was pretty much over. Guests headed out the door with favors in hand – lemonade mix, with the cutest little tags!
Thank you to everyone who came to our sweet girl’s party! We love you so much! And thank you to my husband and brother for helping me snap photos. You guys are the best!
Thank you, also, to all the shops mentioned, for providing decor and other perfect details to make her birthday party so very special. Here is a full list of those who made this party possible and helped pull my vision together.
